The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department and West Tennessee Regional Health Departments will participate in an opioid summit aimed at preventing teen substance abuse.
The summit will be held at the J. Walter Barnes Conference Center at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, 620 Skyline Drive, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (registration, 8:30 a.m.) Wednesday.
According a press release from Mallory Cooke, Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department Public Information Officer, the summit is expected to attract school nurses and coaches from across West Tennessee.
