An early morning shooting left a female injured inside the law offices of Casey, Simmons & Bryant, PLLC, at 449 E. Baltimore St.
A person of interest is being held by the Jackson Police Department according to Lt. Derick Tisdale, public information officer at the JPD.
“The investigation is ongoing,” Tisdale said. “But we don’t know if the person being held is the actual person.”
The condition of the victim has not been updated.
