Jackson, Tennessee – Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store and Casey Jones Village will honor veterans and military members with a choice of either a complimentary breakfast, lunch or supper at the buffet or from the Dixie Cafe Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, in recognition of Veterans Day.

According to a press release from Tajuana Cheshier – The Bramblett Group – guests with military identification from any of the United States Armed Forces are eligible for a single meal on the federal holiday.

“Military service members have sacrificed their daily lives and sometimes actually risked their health and well-being to serve their country,” said Old Country Store General Manager Brooks Shaw. “This is a way we say thanks to them for providing safety and security for the rest of us, so we can go about our daily lives while they’re on the front lines watching over our nation.”

Old Country Store has recognized veterans and military personnel for several years as part of its continued outreach and service to the community. In addition, the business offers a daily 10 percent discount for military personnel.

Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store has been in business for more than 55 years. With about 100 team members employed, they serve more than half a million residents and tourists each year.
