LaDonna Louise Page Luckey

LaDonna Louise Page Luckey

LaDonna Louise Page Luckey, 82, Jackson TN, peacefully passed away on January 19, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. A beacon of joy and compassion has completed her earthly journey and she has entered the Lord’s embrace. She was born on December 10, 1943, to the late John Paul Page Sr and Bertha Louise Cherry Page in Gibson County, TN. LaDonna was a proud graduate of Peabody High School and a graduate of the first nursing class at Union University. Survived by her children, Kimberly Bailey and David Luckey, IV (Heather); grandchildren, Holley Walls (Hunter), LaNora Bailey, Justin Luckey, Brendan Feazell, and Brittany Barnes (Roger); one great-grandchild, Juliette Walls; brothers, John Paul Page, Jr. (Jane) and Julian Neal Page (Marilynn); ex-husband and continued friend, David Luckey, III; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Paul Page, Sr. and Bertha Cherry Page. LaDonna’s life was a melody of love, laughter, and selfless service that resonated with everyone who had the pleasure of crossing her path. LaDonna, a woman of faith and fervor, dedicated her life to the healing arts as a Registered Nurse at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Her hands, guided by a heart of gold, brought comfort and care to countless souls over the years. Even as she hung up her scrubs and embraced retirement, her legacy of kindness continued to echo through the hospital corridors. LaDonna’s spirit shone brightest when she was singing Christmas carols, albeit slightly off-key, much to the amusement of her family and friends! Her joyful noise became a cherished tradition, spreading cheer even in the most challenging times. LaDonna’s love for playing cards, especially Spades, was only eclipsed by her love for her family, her job and the people she served. She was a spirited competitor, always ready with a smile and a gentle tease, turning every game into a memorable gathering among family and friends. Her home was a sanctuary, not just for her beloved family, but for anyone in need of shelter and warmth. LaDonna’s open-door policy was a testament to her boundless generosity and the depth of her devotion to her community. As a proud member of the First Christian Church, she embodied the Christian virtues of love and kindness until its doors closed. But even then, her faith never wavered, and she continued to live by the teachings of Christ, spreading love and laughter wherever she went. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Union United Methodist Church Cemetery in Trenton, TN. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service.
