The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for another confirmed case of COVID-19.
We now have 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest patient is a 54-year-old man. He was told to self-isolate at home.
Our epidemiology staff is reaching out to people who had contact with the patient.
As of 10 a.m. today, we have received 1 positive COVID-19 test result from the March 26 drive-through assessment site at the Jackson Fairgrounds – 38 people tested negative – 28 tests are still pending.
