The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 32 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 11,276 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 10,922 have recovered.

Eighteen of these new cases reflect a data backlog from one local provider. Eight of the 32 new cases tested positive within the last three days.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 19 to 72.

Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

One Madison County resident is currently hospitalized. That patient is not on a ventilator.
