NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM now available through Alexa

For those who would like to listen to NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM on their Amazon Echo – here’s how.

To enable device, these words must be said exactly: “Alexa, enable news talk one oh one point five skill” – After the device is enabled, you must say “Alexa, open news talk one oh one point five.”

ENABLING YOUR SKILL

Voice Enablement

“Alexa enable news talk one oh one point five skill”
Alexa will repeat back that it is enabled.

Alexa App Enablement

Open the Alexa app on your device and go to the menu and select Skills.
Select Categories to browse for skills by category. Or, use Search to find a specific skill.
When you find a skill you want to use, click on it and select Enable Skill to the right of the page.
Amazon Website Enablement
Go go to https://www.amazon.com/skills.
Select Categories to browse for skills by category. Or, use Search to find a specific skill.
When you find a skill you want to use, click on it and select Enable Skill to the right of the page.

OPENING YOUR SKILL

All custom skills require enablement prior to usage. After you’ve properly enabled a skill, there are a variety of ways to open it.

Open Command

“Alexa, open news talk one oh one point five”

CLOSING A SKILL

To close the News/Talk 101.5 Skill say:
“Alexa, turn off one oh one point five”
