JMCSS Announces Dr. Charles Clark, Jr. as Principal of Jackson Central-Merry Academy of Medical Technology
(September 30, 2014, Jackson, TN) – Dr. Verna Ruffin, superintendent of Jackson – Madison County Schools, announced Tuesday afternoon that Dr. Charles Clark, Jr. has been named as principal for Jackson Central-Merry Academy of Medical Technology.
Clark has been with the Jackson-Madison County School System for 17 years and has most currently served as assistant principal at North Side High School. Clark is a graduate of Humboldt High School in Humboldt, Tennessee. He received undergraduate degrees from Jackson State Community College and Lambuth University, Master’s Degrees from Trevecca Nazarene University and Freed-Hardeman University, as well as, Ed.S. and Ed. D. Degrees from Union University. He has experience as a teacher, coach, middle school interventionist, middle school principal, and high school assistant principal.
Clark has also served as adjunct professor and assistant professor at Jackson State Community College and is currently serving as adjunct for the Undergraduate and Graduate Teacher Education Program at Union University.
