(December 20, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- The National Weather Service spoke to us about the upcoming weather situation in Jackson.
Starting tonight, it will be windy with winds from the South at 15 to 20 miles per hour and gusts into 30 miles per hour. Showers will start around 9PM.
On Saturday, the wind and rain will continue and develop later into thunderstorms. The high will be in the mid-70s.
The winds will be out of the South with gusts of 30 to 45 miles per hour. There will also be a “slight risk” of the thunderstorms to turn into severe thunderstorms and tornados.
Most of the activity will be out of the area late Saturday night. Sunday will be dry with highs of around 60.
