Motions Hearing For Zach Adams

SAVANNAH Tenn. One of the accused in the murder of 20-year-old nursing student Holly Bobo was in court on Wednesday.

The hearings and the trial are being held in Savannah, Tennessee after Judge Creed McGinley moved the case to Hardin County.

Zach Adams is the first of three defendants to go to trial. On Wednesday his attorney argued a motion during a status hearing to delay the trial.

Adams is charged in the disappearance and death of Holly Bobo who disappeared from her Decatur County home in April 2011.

Adams’ attorney presented arguments on motions for documents and other evidence they say the state has not turned over.

Judge McGinely denied the motion to comtinue telling both sides they have had plenty of time to prepare.

The first trial is set to begin September 11.

Zach Adams, Dylan Adams and Jason Autry are charged with kidnapping, raping and killing Holly Bobo.

Friday, Sept. 8, has been reserved in the event another motions hearing for needs to take place.
