Looking for its fifth state football and first since 1999, the Milan Bulldogs lost 35-0 to Alcoa in the TSSAA BlueCross Bowl at Tucker Stadium in Cookeville, Friday.
Alcoa, which won its sixth straight championship and 19th overall, dominated the game from start to finish.
Statistically, the Tornadoes had 21 first downs compared to four for Milan and 466 yards of total offense – 178 rushing, 288 passing.
Milan was limited to 85 yards of total offense – 52 rushing and 33 passing.
Milan completed one pass out of eight attempts, and had two passes intercepted.
