Locally, Representative Jimmy Eldridge sponsored the event.  This is our fifth year to sponsor this event and I’m excited about it.  There’s a lot of great programs in America on women’s health, over 13,000 community-based programs out there for women’s health and we’re the only ones advocating for men’s health in Tennessee and one of the very few in America. according to Eldridge.

I have real compassion for getting the message out. Women do a great job of promoting their health, men don’t talk about their health issues. A man could be have a heart attack and we don’t want anyone to know it but this a chance to come together and to be encouraged to a live healthy lifestyle, exercise, and get a lot of good information about living healthy. said Eldridge

Representative Jimmy Eldridge received the 2015 outstanding legislative leadership award and Dr. Tim Davenport was given the 2015 Dr. of the year award.  Leventhal said,  Jimmy Eldridge is a chief advocate in the state of Tennessee as a policymaker and Dr. Tim Davenport for being a leader within the men’s health movement here in Tennessee.
