The Memphis Police Department continues its investigation into a shooting that took the life of Phil Trenary, president/CEO of the Greater Memphis Chamber, about 7:30 p.m., Thursday.
The shooting occurred in the 500 block of South Front Street.
“He was well-respected in our business,” said Kyle Spurgeon, president/CEO of the Jackson Chamber, “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, the Chamber and the entire city of Memphis. He was a strong advocate for Memphis, and he will be missed.”
