Jackson attorney Mark Patey is the new General Sessions Division I Judge for Madison County.
Patey was selected by the Madison County Commissioners during their monthly meeting at the Jackson Madison County Regional Health Department, Monday.
Patey received 16 of the 25 possible votes.
Jackson’s Chief of Police Thom Corley, who is also an attorney, received seven votes, while attorneys Jennifer Free and Bill Milam, picked up one vote each.
Patey will replace Hugh Harvey Jr., June 1.

Seems like a nice guy and all but NO regard for anybody’s time or money at all. Court takes forever because he talks so much and a lot about himself
