The Madison County Sheriff’s Office reported an escapee from the litter crew work detail at 10 a.m., Wednesday.
Chemier Burns, a six-foot, 165-pound black male escaped after jumping out of a van at Church and Chester Streets.
Burns, age 19, was wearing blue jeans and a shirt with P.F. on his jacket.
The Jackson Police Department is assisting in pursuit of Burns.
