JACKSON, Tenn. — Police made an arrest of the alleged gunman in a south
Jackson Bemis shooting, suspect faces attempted murder charge18-year-old Quintarious Christopher James Tomlin was in Jackson City Court
to face an attempted first-degree murder charge.Tomlin is accused of shooting a man around noon Sunday on Davidson Street.
According to police Tomlin was seen walking toward the victim’s house,
shooting, and then fleeing on foot. The victim identified Tomlin out of a
photo lineup.The victim was shot three times. He was transported by Lifeflight to
Regional Hospital in Memphis.Tomlin is currently being held at the Madison County Jail in lieu of a
$50,000 bond.
