From the Jackson Police Department –

Jackson Police officers responded to an Aggravated Robbery at State Finance located at 1725 South Highland Avenue on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at approximately 1:30 p.m.

A black male suspect entered the business, pointed a handgun at an employee and then demanded money.

The suspect left the business with money belonging to State Finance and took personal property belonging to an employee.

During the course of the investigation it was determined that Joseph Moore, a 35-year-old man, was the suspect who committed the aggravated robbery.

Moore was taken into custody on Tuesday at approximately 6 p.m. Moore will be formally arraigned on charges in Jackson City Court on Monday, November 28th, 2022.
