Madison County Sheriff John Mehr is alerting our citizens of another phone scam.

Our Office has received complaints concerning callers claiming to be Agents needing your social security information and number.

The best thing to do is just hang up. Don’t give any personal information or send any form of money.
The Social Security Tax Scam number is 1-800-366-4484.
