Madison County Sheriff John Mehr confirms a deputy with the Madison County Sheriff’s department has been arrested.
Deputy Shane Paar was allegedly accused of simple domestic assault, involving his son.
The incident occurred at 11:06 this morning at 61 Madelyn Cove in Oakfield.
Deputy Paar has been placed on Administrative leave, suspended with pay, and he will be arraigned in Court Monday.
The case is still under investigation.
