From the Madison County Sheriff’s Department –

Sheriff John Mehr is asking the public for assistance in locating four suspects from the robbery of the Citgo Store at 154 Providence Road, exit 68 on Interstate 40.

This event occurred at approximately 8 p.m., Friday, December 27.

Three black males and one black female, dressed in black pants and black hoodies, jumped the front counter and began stealing cartons of cigarettes and lottery tickets.

Moments later, when an employee pressed the panic alarm, the four fled the building.

They left in a 2019 Black Nissan Rouge with no tinted windows. The car was stolen from Memphis and has a Massachusetts tag, 5WW-322.

There were no injuries.

There is a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
