On March 26, 2011, members of the United States Marshal’s Regional Task Force, responded to a tip on the location of Madison County Penal Farm escapee, Stephen Guinn Williams, Jr., at 105 Kellwood Street, Rutherford, TN.
The investigation revealed that Stephen Guinn Williams, Jr., age 34, 105 Kellwood Street, Rutherford, TN, who was serving time for Driving Under the Influence-2nd Offense and Driving on a Revoked License, was on work release at the time of his escape. On the morning of November 21, 2000, Stephen Williams, Jr. left the Penal Farm for work release and failed to return at the end of the day.
Stephen Guinn Williams, Jr. has formally been charged with Escape; Violation of Probation from General Sessions Court-Division I for Driving Under the Influence-2nd Offense and Driving on a Revoked License; and Probation of Violation from Circuit Court, Division III for Facilitation of Aggravated Robbery and Driving Under the Influence-1st Offense.
Arraignments have not been scheduled. No bond has been set at this time.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Jackson Police Department currently have investigators assigned to the United States Marshal’s Regional Task Force who assisted in this arrest.
