A Lady Lion will remain a Lady Lion when Macey Lee, a senior at Trinity Christian Academy continues her education and her basketball career at the University of North Alabama.
“I am thrilled to be joining such a great program,” Lee said, “Though it is only their second season in Division One. They are in the top of their conference and will be competing this year for the (Atlantic Sun) conference championship.
“I love Coach (Missy) Tiber and can’t wait to join her program.”
A few of her basketball honors include being named All-District, twice, All District-Tournament, All Region Tournament, All West Tennessee, twice, All-State, District 14-A Player of the Year, and a TSSAA Miss Basketball Finalist.
She enters her senior year at TCA with 1,411 Points – third in school history and is only the fifth player to break the 1,000 pt barrier.
She has handed out 231 assists, pulled down 388 rebounds and is credited with 219 steals.
Macey becomes the eighth TCA Lady Lion player to sign a scholarship to play basketball, and first to sign with a Division One school.
