Grace Media Group in Jackson, Tennessee is offering an EXCEPTIONAL opportunity for a qualified Media Marketing Specialist for our West Tennessee’s news talk and sports radio networks. This involves representing and selling our digital and radio products to local advertisers. You will be a key part of our dynamic radio advertising sales group and will work as a team member to achieve both individual and team goals. Our stations include WNWS 101.5 FM The Talk of Jackson, WTJS 93.1 FM The Voice of West Tennessee, WTJK 105.3 FM Fox Sports Jackson, and WKBQ 93.5 FM US 51 Country.

Grace Media Marketing Specialists are high-energy, proactive marketing and sales professionals who are “black belts” in using digital, and radio advertising for the good and growth of local West Tennessee businesses.

The Media Strategist will engage in all levels of sales activity, personally making direct sales calls and learn about their goals, needs and challenges and then will develop and present effective solutions for growing their businesses through advertising campaigns to our local audiences.

Responsibilities will include:

Generate revenue for Grace Media Groups radio networks and meet monthly goals through effective sales techniques and new ideas.

Create and present advertising strategies and ideas for local products and businesses incorporating digital, on-line, and on-air media

Retain current business and develop new business contacts

Attain budgeted revenue goals through effective solicitations, promotions and service

Understand the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients and find ways to help them achieve their objectives through effective advertising

Expertise and Qualifications:

Demonstrated history of advertising sales campaign success

A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals

Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Strong organizational, written and presentation skills

Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships

Competitive, persuasive, self-motivated

Ability to overcome objections

Working knowledge of new media and digital interactive initiatives

Digital/radio media sales experience preferred

This position needs to be based out of the Jackson or the Covington, TN markets.
