(August 23, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson NAACP is hosting a trip to Washington D.C. to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington.
The National NAACP is holding a March on Washington on August 24. The march will begin at the Lincoln Memorial, go to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, and end at the Washington Monument.
55 attendees boarded the bus that is bound for Washington D.C. in front of the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
