Three candidates vying for Mayor of Madison County will visit ‘The Dan Reaves Show’ 101.5 FM – STREAMED LIVE – talknwesttn.com – 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Tuesday.

 

The Republican Primary debate features incumbent AJ Massey and challengers Sam Bryant and Andy Hall.

Early voting begins Wednesday, April 15, at 311 North Parkway, and runs through April 30.

 

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tuesdays, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

 

Samuel T. Bryant –

 

Sam has been a passionate business owner in Madison County for over 23 years with a diverse background in manufacturing, sales, residential & commercial services, and financial planning.

 

Sam was born at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and is a high school graduate of Jackson Christian School and attended Christian Brothers University. He completed his collegiate degree in marketing and business management at Lambuth University.

 

Sam is currently the Vice President of the Jackson Exchange Club.

 

Sam plans to use his leadership, and broad experience in business, to make a positive difference in Madison County.

 

He will work to ensure the county is financially stable and poised for growth. One of Sam’s strengths has been his ability to collaborate and make meaningful connections throughout his life. This ability will be key to his success as Madison County Mayor, working alongside the county commission, while making Madison County a better place to live, work, and own a business.

 

Andy Hall –

 

Andy Hall brings more than three decades of leadership, business experience, and public service to the campaign.

 

He serves as a Madison County Commissioner, where he plays an active role on key committees, including Budget, Insurance, Highway, Commission Rules and By-Laws, Education Vision, Public Record, and Zoning Appeals.

 

Andy stands with Law Enforcement, is committed to transparent budgeting and fiscal responsibility and financial leadership and supports local businesses and job creation.

 

He served three years on the Personnel Committee and has previously chaired both Personnel and Highway.

 

He is the owner of TAP Products, where he manages a range of services – business forms, promotional products, screen printing, and embroidery distributorship.

 

Before founding TAP Products, he built a successful career in business development and sales with Dugger Business Forms, AHA Specialties, BNB Systems, AMH Group, and Kyrus Print Solutions.

 

AJ Massey –

 

He graduated from Union University, and also received his Master of Business Administration from Union.

 

He has a long career in banking, having worked most recently at the Bank of Jackson (Centennial Bank). AJ is vested in the Jackson and Madison County communities, having served as a Jackson-Madison County School Board Member.

 

AJ looks to continue to lead Madison County to a future with better schools, a thriving business
environment, and top tier health care, where people feel safe, have the most diverse options and amenities, and the lowest cost of living anywhere.
