Brett Wyatt was fighting for his life when he arrived at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital on January 25, 2021. Diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, he began a fight that has demanded all the bravery, resilience, and stamina he has developed in his short 13 years.
According to a press release from Caitlin Roach, marketing manager – LIFELINE Blood Services – Brett transferred to St. Jude Children’s Hospital on Valentine’s Day.
There, just as at LeBonheur, he continues receiving treatment from an amazing group of medical professionals.
Brett’s parents, Chris and Carla Wyatt, are both teachers in the Gibson County Special School District.
LIFELINE has teamed up with the GCSSD to host a blood drive in Brett’s honor with $10 going to the Wyatt family for every unit collected.
Come out and donate blood at the #BraveLikeBrett Drive; you will be saving a life and benefitting the Wyatt family at the same time.
