Black Tie & Boxing returns for its 5th event benefiting Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), January 22, 2022, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

Black Tie & Boxing, a fund of The West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation, uniquely combines a black-tie dinner with a series of sanctioned kickboxing and MMA matches.
Fighters from around the Mid-South will duke it out in the name of fighting for a cure of type one diabetes (T1D). Proceeds brought in at Black Tie & Boxing will go directly to the JDRF Tennessee Chapter.
Patrons are eager to attend the sold-out event seeing as Black Tie & Boxing’s last show was in January 2020. Patrons and table guests are treated to a 6 p.m., cocktail hour followed by dinner and ringside seats to the matches.
“Black Tie & Boxing’s success is built on the support of the T1D community and our sponsors,” said Rachel Ryan, chairperson of Black Tie & Boxing. “Since its beginning in 2017, West Tennessee has continued to be enthusiastic not only about this event but joining the fight for a cure of type one diabetes.”
Black Tie & Boxing 2022 is presented by Leaders Credit Union. Black Tie & Boxing is also supported by Russ & Karen Ellis, Express Employment Professionals, Medtronic, Chick-fil-A Collierville, Davis Wealth Services, Mid-South Aluminum, Susan Cox Development, Krispy Krunchy Foods, Hurt Seed Company, CrossFit Jackson, TBDN Tennessee Company, and Black Tie Fight Club.
