Once a concern we mentioned, we sent our ATM service provider, the Jackson Police Department and our staff to our South branch ATM, and although we cannot 100 percent rule out a skimmer device, no evidence of tampering could be found on the machine.
Additional research is being conducted.
We have been in constant contact with our card provider to continue to research the source of any compromised cards.
We have pulled any cards that were recently used at our South Highland branch ATM.
As a precaution, an email has been sent and telephone calls are in the process of being made to affected members notifying them of a potential compromise and that we were issuing new cards either in the branch or by mail.
It is important to Leaders to take care of our members and to continue to make security our top priority.
