Senior defensive end Andrew Farmer has been invited to the 77th Annual Hula Bowl All-Star Game. The game will be played on January 14th, 2023 at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
The invitation comes as Farmer leads the nation in tackles for loss with 19.0. The edge rusher from Jacksonville, Fla. has accumulated 39.0 tackles on the season and a league-leading 5.0 sacks. He has also batted three balls at the line scrimmage. He has anchored the Dragons’ defensive unit all season. So far throughout six games the Dragons have a 0.500 record of 3-3.
The game will be aired nationally on CBS Sports Network. The Hula Bowl saw 104 players from the 2022 game sign professional contracts and 21 players make the 53-man roster for NFL teams during opening weekend.
