Kansas City Chiefs leaving Missouri for the Sunflower State

The Kansas City Chiefs have informed administrative officials they will announce they are leaving Arrowhead Stadium for neighboring Kansas today, pending LCC approval.

The Chiefs have been in Missouri since 1963.

The new stadium will cost approximately $2 Billion, and will leave the Show Me State without an NFL franchise.

The Rams left St. Louis at the end of the 2015 season.

The St. Louis pro football Cardinals vacated the city for Phoenix in 1987.
