From the Jackson Police Department –
On April 25, 2020 at approximately 3:50 a.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 106 Robin Lane. Kontravis Bond, a 19-year-old male, was shot outside his residence. Bond was transported to Jackson Madison County General Hospital where he later succumb to his injuries.
The investigation revealed that the shooting was accidental. A juvenile has been charged with Reckless Homicide and is awaiting a hearing in the Madison County Juvenile Court.
