KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A federal judge has dismissed charges against an East Tennessee physician and his wife, who were convicted of using unapproved foreign drugs at their cancer clinic.
The Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1E7j9CK) reports that U.S. District Judge Ronnie Greer issued the order Tuesday that dismissed dozens of convictions for Dr. Anindya Sen and his wife, Patricia Posey Sen.

Judge: Greeneville Doctor, Wife Wrongly Convicted
The Greeneville couple was accused of purchasing more than $3 million in misbranded and unapproved medications for the East Tennessee Cancer & Blood Center. Defense attorneys blamed the supplier, saying the doctor thought the drugs were approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
