The Generals of Jackson State take on Southwest Tennessee CC today at 2:00PM. The Generals have fallen on some hard times this season but with most of the highly ranked conference opponents behind them things are looking up! The Generals are 6-15 in the conference after sweeping Roane State last weekend. That means that if the Generals can win out and get a little help a six seed into the tournament is not totally out of grasp. It’s a bit of a long shot but that’s what baseball is all about!

The Generals will have to get past a mid-week game at Columbia State on Tuesday in which they lost 22-4. A game in which only five of the Chargers 22 runs were earned by the Jackson Pitching staff. The rest were a result of seven General’s errors. Today and tomorrow the Generals look to clean up their defense and kickstart the offense as they prepare to face the Saluqis of Southwest Tennessee CC.
