From the Jackson Police Department –

Officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a report of a man armed with a handgun at a funeral service located at 2188 North Parkway East, Saturday.

Police quickly responded and took the man into custody without incident. The investigation revealed this was a result of a family dispute.

This is still an ongoing investigation and no injuries were reported.
