Jackson Police Chief Julian Wiser has confirmed officers responded to a reported barricade at a home on North Highland Avenue.
According to initial reports from Ricky Brown – Grace Media Group – officers responded to a domestic situation at the Dodge Store, 2670 North Highland Ave., but the suspect in the incident left the business before officers arrived.
Investigators later found the suspect at a home in the 2900 block of North Highland Avenue, where negotiators were on the scene at 4:30 p.m.
