Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that has led to the death of twenty-nine year old Quintez Brown.

On October 12th at approximately 8 p.m., officers responded to a Shotspotter alert in the area of 164 Lincoln Circle. Responding officers located a crime scene but did not locate any property damage or a victim. A short time later, Quintez Brown arrived at a local hospital suffering with a gunshot injury and was later pronounced deceased by medical staff.

Jackson Police continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the death of Quintez Brown and ask anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigation Division by calling 731-425-8400.
