JPD needs assistance identifying suspects who stole equipment from city groundskeeping facility

From the Jackson Police Department –

Investigators with the Jackson Police Department are looking for two or more suspects who stole eight John Deer riding lawn mowers along with several weed eaters and leaf blowers from the City of Jackson Groundskeeping Facility on 75 Wisteria Street.

The theft occurred late Sunday night (May 23, 2021) into early Monday morning.

The suspects entered the property between 11:08 p.m., Sunday, and left at approximately 1:10 a.m., Monday morning.

They were seen driving two (24′ or 26′ in length) white box style moving trucks. The suspects were last seen driving in the area of Commerce Street in Jackson, Tennessee.

Investigators are asking businesses and residents in the area to review their video surveillance system for any footage which may have captured these suspect vehicles.
