From the Jackson Police Department –
Officers with the Jackson Police Department are investigating the shooting death of Dra ‘Shun Bowers, age 24.
The shooting death occurred at 15 Gillman Lane.
On April 1, 2023, at approximately 2:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting in the area of Gillman Lane where they encountered an individual suffering from gunshot wounds.
Life-saving measures were taken by officers until medical personnel arrived.
Emergency Medical Personnel transported the individual to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
