Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation continue to investigate an officer involved shooting which resulted in the death of Marcus Mann (DOB: 10/04/1979).

The Jackson Police Department identifies Officer Ed McMullen, a twenty-five year veteran of the Jackson Police Department, as the involved officer. Officer McMullen is on Administrative Leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

At the request of 26th District Attorney General Jody Pickens, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation. By policy of the Jackson Police Department, officers are prohibited from commenting on ongoing investigations.
