From the Jackson Police Department –

Jackson Police are investigating a shooting in which a subject was shot multiple times at 1336 Campbell Street, Sycamore Creek Apartments.

On 5-2-21 at approximately 7:03 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting at 1336 Campbell Street. Upon arrival officers located a black male victim that was shot multiple times. Officers rendered aid including application of 2 tourniquets. Victim was rushed to a local hospital by Emergency Medical Services with life threatening injuries. Officers, also, located narcotics at the scene.
