JACKSON, Tenn. – Thursday night Jackson-Madison County Library patrons, friends, and supporters celebrated with music and dinner.
The Library Foundation hosted their 6th Annual fundraising event with singer song writer, author John Carter Cash, Cash is the only son of Johnny and June Carter Cash.
John Carter’s show was a mix of music and stories. He sang the songs he said were meaningful and told personal family anecdotes to tie the story together. Most of the songs and stories were about his father who was a music icon.
Money raised goes to the Jackson-Madison County Library Foundation will help the library supplement funding for services to meet community needs.
