From the Jackson Fire Department –
The Jackson Fire Department responded to a residential fire on December 17, approximately 10:30 p.m.
Upon arrival firefighters observed a one story single family dwelling located at 11 Robin Lane engulfed in flames.
The three occupants of the home were alerted to the fire by a working smoke alarm and were able to escape from the fire prior to the arrival of fire personnel.
It took crews roughly 30 minutes to bring the fire under control and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation but preliminary reports indicate the fire possibly started in the kitchen area.
