Donnie Nickey will not be returning to North Side High School as the head football coach. Nickey has been with North Side for two years and plans to remain in West Tennessee possibly as an assistant coach.

North Side High School has named Jesse Powell as the new head coach.

Powell said, “I give all the honor to God and Jesus Christ for giving me the opportunity to lead such a wonderful group of young men. There is no better school than Jackson Northside. I intend on building this program the right way and in Gods timing we will redeem this program,”
