JEA Board of Directors make adjustments for water rates

The Board of Directors approved a new residential water schedule during its monthly meeting, Thursday.

RESIDENTIAL WATER RATE SCHEDULE RI

The first 7,000 gallons per month at $0.347 per 100 gallons. The next 43,000 gallons per month at $0.281 per 100 gallons. Excess over 50,000 gallons per month at $0.167 per 100 gallons.

Monthly Meter Charge

5/8-inch Meter – $11.72 per month 1-inch Meter – $15.83 per month

1.5 inch Meter – $19.73 per month 2-inch Meter – $23.30 per month

First 15,000 gallons per month at $0.412 per 100 gallons Next 185,000 gallons per month at $0.316 per 100 gallons Next 300,000 gallons per month at $0.199 per 100 gallons Next 500,000 gallons per month at $0.171 per 100 gallons Excess over 1,000,000 gallons per month at $0.121 per 100 gallons

1.5-inch Meter – $29.44 per month 2-inch Meter – $43.60 per month

All other terms and conditions of the above rate schedules shall remain unchanged.

That these rate adjustments shall become effective for all billings based on meter readings taken on and after October 1, 2020.
