Big News from TCA Athletics!
We are excited to announce Jana Kahler as the new Varsity Girls’ Head Basketball Coach at Trinity Christian Academy! Coach Kahler has already made a significant impact as an assistant coach, and we can’t wait to see her lead and succeed in this new role.
Kahler played high school basketball at Obion County Central, helping lead the Rebels to the 2005 State Tournament, and was a finalist for Miss Basketball in 2007.
She played one season at Murray State University, where the Racers won the 2009 Ohio Valley Conference regular season title.
Kahler transferred to Bethel University, where she played her final three years for the Lady Wildcats.
An NAIA second team All-American, Kahler has been inducted into the Hall of Fame at Obion County Central and Bethel University.
She began her coaching career as a graduate assistant at Union University for two seasons, one which culminated in the 2014 NCCAA National Title.
Kahler was an assistant coach at Union City High School, and in 2015, she was named head basketball coach at South Gibson County Middle School. During her eight-year career, she led the Hornets to multiple championships and was twice named Conference Coach of the Year.
Jana and husband, Scott, have been married for 10 years, and they have two daughters who attend Trinity Christian Academy.
The family attends Calvary Baptist Church.
