An outside investor has found south Jackson to his liking, and when David Peterson purchased Jackson Storage Solutions in May, expansion became a part of the blueprint.
A resident of Sandy, Utah, Peterson first visited the site at 602 S. Missouri St., in December, 2017.
Peterson said he located the property through a mutual friend of retired Jackson businessman Dennis Henderson, who owned the property.
The mutual friend is Anne Williams, a First Vice President of Investments for a commercial real estate firm, Marcus and Millichap.
“She showed us the property, amongst a group of other people, and when we saw the capability of the expansion, and where the property was located in south Jackson, we felt like we could have a really successful business by making that expansion,” Peterson said, “When we toured the facility in December (2017), we had 7.24 acres, and at the time, just over two acres of it developed.
“Now we’ve developed the other two acres, with another three acres we could develop for further expansion just south of the property.”
