Jackson Police Investigators continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that occurred Saturday afternoon, January 18, on the parking lot of Back Yard BBQ located on Old Hickory Boulevard.

On January 21, at approximately 2 p.m., Jackson Police Investigators served a search warrant at 76 Fair Acres in connection with the incident.

Investigators arrested Stephun Bush and charged him with one count of Attempted First Degree Murder.

The investigation revealed this was not a random act of violence but a targeted act of violence against the victims. The investigation further revealed this act of violence was a result of a previous incident. This investigation is ongoing and further charges are likely.
