Approximately 8:30 pm Wednesday Jackson Police and EMS responded to the
area of Oakridge Drive on a call of shots fired. Upon arrival officers
were told 2 victims had been taken by private vehicle to a local hospital.
A JPD patrol vehical spotted a car on North Parkway near Royal with
flashers on and initiated a stop. Officers found a third victim.

Police said the investigation was in it’s early stage. Investigators did
not have a suspect description or possible motive.

Three victims include a 47-year-old black female, a 28-year-old black
male, and a black male in his early 20’s. All injuries were considered non
life-threatening.
