Sergeant Rochelle Staten of the Jackson Police Department has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in the Patrol Division.

Julian Wiser, Jackson’s chief of police, made the announcement, today.

According to a press release, Lieutenant Staten has been with the Jackson Police Department for more than 15 years.

She is a dedicated officer/supervisor who works diligently ensuring the officers under her watch are prepared, efficient, and effective in responding to calls for service as well as serving the citizens of Jackson.
