The Jackson Police Department is pleased to announce Officer David Knolton as February’s “Employee of the Month.”
Officer David Knolton has been employed with the Jackson Police Department for more than twenty-nine years and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division, and is currently working in downtown Jackson.
According to a press release, he has done a great job working and communicating with the Jackson Transit Authority and the (West Tennessee) Farmers’ Market (and) has developed a great rapport with a great number of downtown business owners and operators.
Officer David Knolton also has developed relationships with the homeless.
He is recognized as someone who always has a positive attitude, which reflects in his actions by keeping the downtown area clean and safe for the citizens.
As “Employee of the Month”, Officer David Knolton received a plaque acknowledging his selection, a gift certificate to a local restaurant, and a designated parking space for the month – as well as a day off with pay.
